If you’ve not heard of this cool looking iPhone dock called Galileo, it’s actually a Kickstarter project requiring $100k in funding a while back but it managed to get over $700k when the period ended 2 days ago. That shows that there’s a lot of interest in the product and hopefully we’ll see it out in the market soon.
The Galileo is a robotic iPhone 4/4S dock that can be panned and rotated 360°. It can be remotely controlled via the iPad, iPhone or the web browser where if you’re using the iOS device to control it, you can just swipe it with your finger and the dock will follow the movement fluidly at speeds of 200° per second. Great for video calls, baby monitoring and 360° virtual home tours. Check out the video demo:-
