Samsung Galaxy S III Officially Unveiled With Eye Tracking Technology

Samsung Galaxy S II was a huge success for Samsung but the brand new Galaxy S III looks set to bring it up further. Inspired by the elements of wind, water and light, it will initially be available in Pebble Blue and Marble White color. Sporting a slim design of 8.6mm thick, it is also powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor. It will be running the latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 and also comes with a 4.8-inch 720p Super AMOLED HD Display. It also has a 8MP rear camera and a 1.9MP front camera which uses some eye tracking technology that will turn off the device’s display by tracking your eye movement.

Apart from that, it also comes with S-Voice that competes with Apple’s Siri and is able to recognize voice commands like waking the device and activating the camera. There’s also the new ‘S Beam,’ allowing a 1GB movie file to be shared within three minutes and a 10MB music file within two seconds by simply touching another GALAXY S III phone.
