Sasmsung Galaxy S III’s official tv advert is finally out to get ready for its grand arrival end of this month. The 60-seconds commercial does not shout out what great features it has like a 8 MP camera or a quad-core processor but shows how people connect with the device. I must commend them for taking a shift away from the usual non-sensical Apple blasting but still falls short of logical with the ending tag line that says “designed for humans”. Aren’t all phones designed for humans?
Samsung Galaxy S II was a huge success for Samsung but the brand new Galaxy S III looks set to bring it up further. Inspired by the elements of wind, water and light, it will initially be available in Pebble Blue and Marble White color. Sporting a slim design of 8.6mm thick, it is also powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor. It will be running the latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 and also comes with a 4.8-inch 720p Super AMOLED HD Display. It also has a 8MP rear camera and a 1.9MP front camera which uses some eye tracking technology that will turn off the device’s display by tracking your eye movement.
Apart from that, it also comes with S-Voice that competes with Apple’s Siri and is able to recognize voice commands like waking the device and activating the camera. There’s also the new ‘S Beam,’ allowing a 1GB movie file to be shared within three minutes and a 10MB music file within two seconds by simply touching another GALAXY S III phone. There’s a tonne of other new features but check out the hands-on video and S Voice in action below:-
There’s a new series called “Can You Grill It?” by PorkBarrelBBQ where you get to see popular consumer products being flame tested for God knows why. This week, we have the Samsung Galaxy Android Tablet 10.1 being grilled for 3 minutes in scorching 500 degrees and turns out pretty unedible. The guys gave the Samsung tablet a 2/5 star flame rating. They did a similar test a week back with the new iPad and it turned out better cooked with a 5/5 star rating. If you’re a sensitive gadget loving person, stay away from these insane videos.
